Elegance in the Mountains – Vail Rd II by Simon Hamui Studio

Simon Hamui Design Studio undertook a meticulous renovation of a two-bedroom apartment, transforming it into an optimized, elegant, and functional space. With a design that balances luxury aesthetics with the rustic charm of the mountains, the intervention redefined the home's layout to meet contemporary needs. The conversion of the family room into a third bedroom and the addition of two bathrooms maximized the space's functionality without compromising its fluidity or welcoming character.

This project is a testament to the power of design in elevating everyday living, blending an alpine retreat atmosphere with elements of modernity and sophistication. Priority was given to the selection of materials and furnishings that evoke a sense of authenticity and timelessness, striking a balance between the classic and the contemporary. Every design decision reflected a pursuit of harmony, maximizing functionality without losing sight of aesthetics.

Inviting Warmth and Togetherness – Restaurante Cortile by Comitē De Proyectos

Located in the heart of Plaza Cráter in Pedregal, Restaurante Cortile is a clear example of how design can redefine a space’s identity. Originally, the venue felt like a mere extension of the plaza, lacking a distinctive personality.

More than just an aesthetic intervention, this project became a deep transformation process where the space gained its own narrative, moving away from the coldness typical of commercial environments. The key was not just beautification but creating an immersive atmosphere that fosters emotions and connections. The clients’ request was clear: they wanted the restaurant to feel warmer, more inviting, and to establish an identity that would encourage diners to relax and enjoy its gastronomic and wine experience.
