Elegance in the Mountains – Vail Rd II by Simon Hamui Studio

From furniture selection to the integration of innovative architectural solutions, every corner of the apartment was designed to offer a luxurious yet understated experience.

The result is a space with a well-defined identity, where modernity meets the warmth of noble materials. One of the most notable aspects of the project was the custom carpentry, a solution that optimized both the layout and the visual perception of spaciousness. To achieve this, ceiling openings were made to increase height, creating a sense of lightness and continuity. The integration of acoustic treatments in walls and ceilings ensured optimal sound comfort, guaranteeing that each area enjoyed proper insulation without external interference.

The redesigned spatial layout optimized functionality without compromising the sense of spaciousness. The residence now features a master bedroom, a double bedroom, and a guest room, all designed to offer maximum comfort and privacy. The Soffit, clad in light wood and internally lined with felt, contributed to a serene and peaceful ambiance. Every detail, from doors to bathroom vanities, dining areas, and kitchen elements, was executed with precision, emphasizing quality and craftsmanship.

The family room was transformed into a multifunctional area with the addition of a convertible sofa. Its modular design allows the space to be adapted as needed, converting it into a guest bed or maintaining it as a lounging and entertainment area. These types of solutions reinforce the project’s intelligent approach, where every element is designed for efficiency and practicality.

Mid-century-inspired furnishings with clean lines and balanced proportions were carefully chosen to enhance the apartment’s aesthetic coherence. A carefully chosen palette of dark tones introduced an element of sophistication, adding visual depth to the interiors.
