Google reveals new Thompson Center atrium and civic-art plans
The update materially advances one of the country’s most closely watched adaptive-reuse and preservation projects. New renderings show how Google and A+I intend to transform Helmut Jahn’s 17-story atrium while adding public retail, gathering space and a major Sanford Biggers sculpture.
