MALBA selects Frida Escobedo for underground Buenos Aires expansion
This is the strongest new Latin American museum-architecture announcement in the current cycle. It pairs a major regional institution with a prominent Mexico-based practice and proposes doubling exhibition capacity beneath an existing public square rather than consuming additional surface space.
