One of the main challenges in the aesthetic renovation of Casa Vortex is the integration of elements that maximize the functionality and visual appeal of the space, maintaining a harmonious balance between form and function. The update is carried out attempting to maintain the structure of the building. Regulations require maintaining the sloping roof, therefore, all sloping planes are formalized in a more modern and current way.

The program is divided into two clear phases, day area and night area. The day area located on the ground floor is configured as a large volume with sloping panels generating a large space in double height, corresponding to the living-dining area. On the opposite side of this space is the kitchen. Above this, the night area is located, playing with sloping ceilings, the bedrooms and bathrooms are located where a more private and intimate area is worked.
