David Hernández Martín is an architect who believes in a close, human-centered approach to architecture—one that begins with understanding people and the spaces they inhabit. His work is based on listening, interpreting needs, and transforming ideas into designs that enhance everyday life. Each project is conceived as a collaborative process, seeking not only functionality but also emotional impact. His studio develops new-build and renovation projects ranging from residential architecture to tertiary-use spaces, with a strong specialization in healthcare and dental architecture. Projects are approached comprehensively, covering all phases from technical design to interior design, through a methodology that combines traditional architectural tools with advanced technology to ensure quality at every stage. David holds a degree in Architecture from the School of Architecture of Valladolid and completed additional training at the Politechnika Krakowska in Kraków, where he also collaborated with BXB Studio Bogusław Barnaś, broadening his international perspective. Since 2018, he has been involved in architectural dissemination within the healthcare sector, delivering lectures in undergraduate and postgraduate dentistry programs at universities across Spain. His work focuses on developing efficient architectural management systems for dental clinics, understanding design as a key factor in improving both professional performance and patient experience. In 2023, he received the Young Ortega-Alloza Prize from the College of Architects of Cantabria for the ZyS Dental Medical Center project. His work has been published in specialized dental journals such as Gaceta Dental and Maxillaris, and featured on leading architectural platforms including ArchDaily and Tectónica.
