Diego Alvizuris is a Guatemalan photographer and architect specializing in architectural photography. Born in Guatemala City, he brings over five years of professional experience behind the camera, paired with a strong academic background in architecture. His work is defined by an ability to highlight the best version of each space, capturing design details, materials, textures, and the nuanced effects of natural and artificial light with precision and sensitivity. His professional journey in architectural photography began in 2019, following his completion of a professional photography diploma at La Fototeca in 2018. This training built upon his architectural studies at Universidad Rafael Landívar, where he earned his degree in 2016. The combination of these two disciplines has shaped a unique visual approach that blends architectural logic with the storytelling power of imagery. Since then, he has developed a career focused on documenting spaces with clarity, intention, and technical quality. Diego defines himself as a passionate and dedicated professional. His commitment to delivering the highest-quality work and respecting timelines has earned him a strong reputation, with most clients coming through direct referrals. He firmly believes in the value of visual representation as a tool for enhancing real estate, and his goal is always to provide clients with results that meet — and often exceed — their expectations.

Residential SERIES

Between Forest and Light – Casa de la Cruz by Paredes + Aleman Arquitectos

A residence that redefines the bond with nature: every private and communal space opens to the outside through terraces, warm materials, floating forms, and a masterful play of natural light.

A thoughtful design that embraces the sloped terrain, the house unfolds across levels to offer balconies and terraces in all rooms, contrasting dark and light volumes, rich wooden textures, and strategic skylights and openings that frame views of the forest and the city.
