The Pangolin Shield Brings Bamboo Engineering and Colonial Critique to London Design Festival
The festival's principal temporary architecture combines materially ambitious bamboo engineering with a politically explicit examination of protection, aggression and Britain's colonial relationship with India. Its short run ends September 20.
