A Timeless Family Home – The New Classic by Steele Street Studios

While the aesthetic aimed to evoke a stately, timeworn charm, the home also needed to function seamlessly for the family. An open-concept design was essential to encourage interaction and flexibility.

The magic of this home lies in the details. One of the standout elements was the hand-stained wood paneling in the formal living room, adding a sense of heritage and bespoke craftsmanship. In the primary bathroom, an aged Calacatta Viola marble shower became a striking focal point, reinforcing the theme of understated luxury. Upstairs, a custom-built loft with integrated bunk beds created an imaginative retreat for the children—a space designed not just for sleeping, but for storytelling, play, and cherished sleepovers. These carefully curated elements added layers of personality and ensured that the home felt both refined and welcoming.
