Cincopatasalgato is a multidisciplinary creative studio founded by architect José Roberto Paredes in 2004, based in El Salvador. Since its inception, the studio has focused on producing visual content with an architectural, artistic, and cultural perspective—combining photography, video, and design to document and communicate spatial experiences through a sensitive and contemporary lens. Over the years, Cincopatasalgato has collaborated with architects, designers, institutions, and brands seeking to authentically and aesthetically represent their projects. The studio has distinguished itself by its ability to interpret the unique character of each space, working across diverse regions and adapting fluidly to both urban and natural contexts. Among its most recent projects is a collaboration with Scalar Architecture on a beach house in Nicaragua, highlighting its commitment to regional and modern architecture. The philosophy of this studio is rooted in insatiable curiosity and an artistic approach that challenges convention—as its name suggests—always searching for a “fifth leg” that reveals the extraordinary in the everyday. Its work has been recognized for its originality and for the way it builds emotional bridges between architecture, culture, and people.
