Thomson, Singapore, beside the Central Nature Catchment Reserve
About this story
The approximately 21,000-square-foot family home places shared living, dining and entertainment spaces on its lower levels and private bedrooms above. Two tall atriums with sunken water gardens draw daylight, rain, planting and cascading water into the building while shielding occupants from neighboring views. Upper floors are wrapped by a delicate sunscreen, and planted terraces and roofs extend habitat toward the adjacent reserve.
Status and timeline
Completed in 2025 and winner of Best Good Class Bungalow at the 2026 Singapore Tatler Homes Design Awards; newly published internationally in September 2026.
