Sweetbird North is an approximately 120,500-square-foot, eight-story office and retail building designed by Snøhetta for Raycliff Capital and Miami Design District Associates. A coiled stainless-steel mesh veil is tensioned around exposed structural bays and alternating scalloped terraces. The screen is intended to function simultaneously as guardrail, solar shade and hurricane protection. Retail occupies the lower floors, with offices and planted terraces above and a landscaped roof completing the building.
Status and timeline
Reported under construction as of August 31, 2026, following issuance of a building permit. Completion is targeted for late 2028.
