Skywalker Grill is the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art’s signature full-service restaurant, designed by Rockwell Group and operated by Rhubarb Events & Hospitality Collection, part of Oak View Group. It is open to museum visitors and the general public, serving lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. The interior combines contemporary and mid-century modern influences with sculptural forms: individually crafted cherry-wood panels wrap the walls and ceiling, illuminated white onyx Corian surfaces add a luminous counterpoint, and a central sculptural bar anchors the dining room. A private dining room uses switch-glass walls, while a landscaped outdoor terrace offers views of Los Angeles. The restaurant opened September 22, 2026. The museum’s larger 300,000-square-foot building was designed by Ma Yansong of MAD with Stantec; its surrounding park and gardens were designed by Mia Lehrer of Studio-MLA.
