About this story
RSHP and ERRE have revealed plans for Valencia Central Station, designed with engineering firm Sener. The station is intended to consolidate high-speed, commuter and other urban rail connections and link with the existing North Station. Published imagery shows broad curved roof canopies and landscaped public space intended to reconnect areas divided by railway infrastructure.
Status and timeline
Design unveiled in September 2026. The project remains in design development; a construction start and completion date have not been publicly confirmed.
