About this story
Lina Bo Bardi: The Poetics of Survival presents architecture, furniture, stage design, writing, art and research from the Italian-Brazilian architect’s career. OPEN Architecture designed the 2,300-square-metre installation as a flowing sequence of nine sections organized beneath four themes. A continuous translucent linen curve moves through the rectangular gallery, carrying text and projections while defining interconnected rooms. Freestanding models and display cases contrast with the soft enclosure, and lifted openings invite visitors to pass through the fabric and become immersed among the exhibits.
Status and timeline
Completed and open from July 25 through October 25, 2026.
Design highlights
