About this story

Operated by Brooklyn ecological-landscaping firm Our Temenos, the pilot will recover, sort, store and redistribute selected construction materials. In addition to diverting usable material from waste streams, the program is intended to generate operational data about the feasibility of reuse-oriented construction supply chains in New York City. It is the first award made through NYCEDC's Ideas for Impact request for expressions of interest.
