About this story
MO6 Eternal is a collection of lightweight, fire-resistant interior wall tiles produced with Elementic's patented process for turning lignin-rich forest-industry side streams into solid carbon material. The product is 100-percent bio-based, plastic-free and VOC-free. The company reports that each kilogram of material stores approximately 2.4 kilograms of atmospheric carbon dioxide. The collection includes 210-by-70-millimeter and 210-by-210-millimeter formats in smooth and textured finishes. MO6 is also introducing framed Gallery compositions at Habitare.
Status and timeline
MO6 launched in May 2026 and is making its first broad public presentation at Habitare, September 2–6. The debut Eternal wall-tile collection is available for dry interior applications and direct professional sales; distribution is expected to expand.
Design highlights
Captured carbon used as the finished architectural surface; monomaterial construction; deep matte charcoal color and non-repeating micro-texture; minimal tile geometry designed to foreground the material; reuse and recycling pathways intended to retain stored carbon.
