About this story
MEXTRÓPOLI 2026, organized around the theme Movimientos, will bring conferences, exhibitions, public-space pavilions, a light installation, guided architectural routes and discussion programs to Mexico City. The program opens at Colegio de San Ildefonso on September 17 with the exhibition Entretejidas, arquitectas mexicanas: Presente, pasado y futuro. Subsequent sessions include speakers from Mexico and abroad and routes devoted to Juan O’Gorman, Xochimilco, Félix Candela, Teodoro González de León, Mathias Goeritz, Ciudad Universitaria and Tlatelolco.
