Argentina; nationwide eligibility for qualifying residents
About this story
Argentina's Fondo Nacional de las Artes has opened the third Concurso de Valoración Patrimonial de Cementerios, Templos y Lugares Sagrados. Eligible architects, researchers, conservators, museum professionals, cultural managers, historians and students may propose projects that interpret, catalogue, exhibit or enhance sacred places and cemeteries. Permitted approaches include physical or digital exhibitions, community cultural programming, inventories, research, interpretive routes, signage and spatial interventions. Three categories each carry first, second and third prizes of ARS 3 million, ARS 2 million and ARS 1 million, respectively, alongside honorary architecture and student distinctions.
Status and timeline
Open for submissions through September 24, 2026. Winners will be announced through the Fondo Nacional de las Artes' official channels; an announcement date has not been published.
