About this story
Aperture's new 10,000-square-foot home spans two floors of an 1886 building opposite the American Museum of Natural History. LEVENBETTS led the design and construction design work, with Sciame as construction manager. The interior combines galleries, a bookstore, flexible event areas, offices, visible workspaces and a Majestic Photobooth, establishing a transparent hub for publishing, exhibitions, artist talks and public engagement. Admission is free.

Public opening is September 18, 2026. Opening exhibitions and programming continue through the fall.
